Anne Sophie Sabini – Chef and Owner of So’Mets
The name So’Mets is a play on words—a contraction of Sophie’s dishes in French.
This thirty-something from Lyon opened her restaurant on January 21, 2022, just a few steps from the Mediterranean Sea. With its modern and cozy atmosphere, the restaurant blends elegance, femininity, and flavor.
It took four months of work—managed entirely by Anne-Sophie herself—to bring the place to life, from designing the kitchen to decorating the dining area, all reflecting her Mediterranean-inspired cuisine: classic recipes revisited with a touch of modernity and finesse. The result is a space full of energy, just like her.
She honed her craft under renowned Michelin-starred chefs, working as sous-chef at La Vague d’Or with Arnaud Donckèle in Saint-Tropez (3 Michelin stars), L’Oustau de Baumanière with Sylvestre Wahid (2 Michelin stars), L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Paris, and with Yannick Franck at La Réserve de Beaulieu, where she launched La Table de la Réserve.
Today, Anne Sophie is writing her own story—favoring simplicity, natural cooking, imagination, and constant reinvention. Above all, she values “transmission,” a word that holds deep meaning for her.
Her cuisine is one of pleasure, spirit, and character—driven by passion and the desire to share it.
